Oukitel C12 Pro: A Quality Smartphone For Lesss Than $90

As the number of smartphones keeps rising, the competition too has increased exponentially. This has led to substantial price cuts. Today you can buy the best smartphones for less than a hundred grants. But for those who like the taste of class iPhone prices are still off limits.

The Oukitel C12 Pro is one of the manifestations of low-priced phones that hit the market in 2018. Yet it packs high-end features and functions quite fast.

I would consider C12 Pro as one of the beautiful U-notch designs produced this year. Right from the large screen, to a slim body and to other elegant specs. One might argue that a 144.6×7.2×9.3mm smartphone is super big and heavy to carry around. But the device is relatively light, about 176g, despite the quality features.

A quick glance on the phone reveals a massive 6.18-inch screen with a U-notch on the front upper center. The edges are smooth while the whole screen stretch from end-to-end. A 2.5D Asahi tough glass protects it, giving it a chance to drop and not break from a 1.5m height.

With such a large display and multifunctions, a strong MT6739 quad-core chipset powers the smartphone. As per the AnTuTu benchmark results, the CPU scored highly and only 8% of the users beat it. That tells you heavy games and multitasking seamlessly run smooth.

Working on Android 8.1 platform, the device packs a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory storage. That amount of space demands less power and is easy to manage. Another cool feature is the double recognition thing. And that means to unlock it you can either use your face or the fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Most models this year seem to take on a single selfie shooter and two cameras on the rear. But the Oukitel C12 Pro deviated a bit and included a 5MP front camera and two sensors at the back; 8MP & 2MP. It mainly operates on single-lens-reflex where the photographer can take cool amazing photos. The adjustment tools work pretty well.

Working closely with the MediaTek’s processor is a 3300mAh battery. It is a relatively large Li-Po with a standby time of up to 300 hours. Quick charging is possible with a 5V/1A input and the device can last for one full day when charged.
